SolRoot Family Wellness was created to offer women and families a different kind of healthcare experience, one that is thoughtful, unhurried, and rooted in understanding.
What sets SolRoot apart is the integration of medical lactation care with women's health and hormone evaluation. Breastfeeding challenges, postpartum recovery, cycle concerns, thyroid issues, and metabolic health are often interconnected. These should be addressed together and not in isolation. By combining evidence based medicine with a root-cause approach, I help patients move beyond symptom management toward lasting wellness.
At SolRoot, you are not rushed, minimized, or treated as a checklist. Visits are intentionally longer, conversations are meaningful, and care plans are individualized. Whether you are navigating the early days of motherhood, adjusting to hormonal transitions or seeking preventative support for long-term health, you deserve a provider who listens deeply and walks alongside you.

My journey towards founding SolRoot Family Wellness has been shaped by both professional and personal experience. I started my healthcare career caring for critically ill infants and children in high-acuity hospital settings. Those years taught me how to support families through some of their most vulnerable moments. But it wasn’t until I became a mother myself that I experienced a different kind of vulnerability through the emotional, physical, and hormonal intensity of the postpartum season.
Breastfeeding my own children was one of the most meaningful and, at times, challenging experiences of my life. I remember the questions, exhaustion, desire to do everything “right” and the deep need for reassurance and guidance. That season changed me and clarified my calling toward helping women in similar stages.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Lactation Counselor, I now have the privilege of walking alongside women during this transformative time. Lactation is often one of the most stressful and emotionally charged seasons in a woman’s life. It deserves more than quick advice or surface level support. It deserves thoughtful, medical level care that considers the whole picture of mother and baby, hormones and healing, and physical and emotional health.
One of the most sacred parts of my work is continuing the relationship beyond postpartum. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, my scope allows me to care for patients across the lifespan. Supporting women through annual physicals, contraceptive counseling, lifestyle optimization, perimenopause, menopause management, and hormone therapy. I also walk alongside you in motherhood by providing services to the whole family like annual visits, sports physicals, or sick visits.
The foundation of my care begins with truly hearing you. Before creating a plan, I want to understand your story, your concerns, your goals, and what health looks like in your life. I believe that the best outcomes happen when we work together by combing evidence-based medicine with thoughtful discussion about lifestyle, natural therapies, and integrative approaches when appropriate. My role is to provide expertise, guidance, and options through partnering with you in creating a path that feels aligned and sustainable.
My hope is that SolRoot Family Wellness is a place where women feel safe, supported, and deeply cared for from the first days of motherhood through every stage that follows.
